All I've ever been good at is fighting and fucking.
Pure violence and wet sex. For years, it's been my life. If you think I'd get bored, you'd be very wrong. I'll never get enough.
Nothing can sate the ache that wants to bend any and every woman over, just to see how she tastes. I'm a man who aims to please, but no one holds my attention.
No one but Zoe.
My cock throbs at the very IDEA of her... I want to suffocate with my tongue inside her thighs.
When my phone rang, I didn't expect her pretty voice to beg me for help.
She thought I'd save her and that'd be it. Oh, how wrong she was.
I'm hooked on this girl—I want her more than fucking water or air.
I wasn't her first.
But I planned to be her last.

If you’re looking to fulfill a purely smutty craving with a book that has a filthy mouthed bad boy, than this will be the one for you. Personally, I went in expecting a whole lot of dirty and this book delivered on that no question. The hero was dirty with a capital D and he knew his way around a woman’s body. And how did he gain all of this knowledge?
Huck is a male escort. He’s also a (mostly) former stripper, and “muscle for hire”. If you need his brawn for protection or his expertise in bed and have a handful of cash, he’ll happily be at your service. He has absolutely no shame and no remorse for his chosen path in life. In fact, he revels in it and doesn’t ever see that changing. To him, he’s satisfying his clients, himself, and getting paid at the same time. The perfect equation, right?
He sounds like a real manwhore doesn't he? You got that right. Actually in this case, in every literal sense of the word. (Don't go get offended for him, he would take that as a compliment.)
Tall, curvy, blonde or even blue haired...I didn't care. I loved them all, and my cock loved them even more.
I can't say I had a problem with that here either. Huxton was panty melting hot from the very first page and I knew I would forgive a lot when it came to him. Luckily, I didn't have to. Now, the heroine, that's a whole other story. But I'll get to that in a minute.
So Huxton and Zoe meet on her 22nd birthday. Huck is hired at the last minute by her roommate when their stripper is a no show. That's not really his gig anymore, but money talks and he's an old friend of her roommate, so he heads to their apartment to meet the birthday girl and give her one hell of a lap dance.
My first impression of Zoe was that she was a little quiet and possibly uptight but that's just a surface persona that's due to her trying to cover up her dangerous addiction to users, abusers, and bad boys.
Guys like Huck...they weren't new to me. They were my old familiar comfort zone. My doom. I wouldn't make a mistake like that again.
In actuality, she has a closet full of skeletons, a massive debt that may have a price she's unwilling to pay, and an ex that she hates but depends on to keep her from forfeiting the contract she made with the devil. So, I can't really blame the poor girl for being stressed out. BUT...when she gets a lap dance from a sexy as sin Huck and an offer for more, she says.....no?
Slowly, I began rocking on top of her. I rose up on my knees, bent back in a slight bridge. Zoe had quite the view, my abdominals flexing as they worked. The shape of my cock-head was obvious, straining against the front of my briefs.
I was almost screaming, holy f-ck, woman! Are you brain damaged? Are you really going to say no to that? No excuse. Get over your little bad boy phobia and get you a piece of that.
Anyhow, she swears up and down that she's not going to do anything with him. That lasts one day. She calls him in desperation that night to hire him to fight in an underground fight for her. Not only did he come, but he won. He saved her from ruin and he seems to have her best interests at heart. But his cocky attitude and swagger have her scared that he's like all the other losers from her past. Can she truly trust him?
Everything was moving along nice and smooth in the first section, but my issues started gaining some steam about halfway through. Knowing what kind of guy Huck is, I found it hard to believe that with one meeting, he would become so attached to Zoe, that he would not only be willing to fight for her that same night, but offer to fight (basically for free) indefinitely any time she calls. First of all, the guy is all about money and getting laid, so letting all his clients go after such a nonexistent acquaintance is hardly plausible.
Even though she's secretive, he puts himself on the line in these matches and makes it his goal to convince her to be his. He's hellbent on doing whatever it takes and he's unable to refuse the temptation she presents.
Of course, he's holding back one little detail about himself that she doesn't know...he's much more than just a stripper. And she's holding back some very vital information about herself as well. (view spoiler)
After all the stress put on her debt, how deeply in danger she was because of it, and how sinister her "boss" was, I was expecting the resolution to be a little less abrupt. Literally, it happens in the last 5% and I was left feeling kind of deflated. All that build up, for this?
Last of the Bad Boys gives you decently constructed main characters and an intriguing plot that held me in it's grip, but I still felt the pacing was off in the beginning and the end. The characters were far from two dimensional, but not consistent in their personality. While the plot wasn't perfection, I did enjoy the heck out of it and my highlighting finger got a good workout. So that tells you right there that it wasn't a total loss.
