Holly and Creighton's relationship has been a short and tumultuous affair, even so, there is no denying the intensity and validity of their feelings. Each segment of the Dirty Billionaire has been such a tasty delight, I was more than looking forward to devouring the final morsel.

The way things were left in Dirty Pleasures felt like step back for the couple. Already on shaky ground, they are further rocked by salacious gossip, attacks on Crey's professional integrity and further upset by a disappointing source.

Crey's steadfast and unwavering support of Holly took me by surprise. It's a new and welcome dimension to his character. We see growth in their relationship, and in turn Holly more than proves her commitment to Crey as they stand side by side to weather the storm.

There are some developments to the story I'm not quite convinced by it's relevance. That said, it looks as though there maybe more to come from Creighton's sister, Greer.

Holly and Crey's relationship is one that has hooked me from start to finish and I'm pleased to see them finally get their happy ending.

Creighton Karas is a man who in theory should offend many of my sensibilities. He's arrogant, conceited, self centred and has no issue using manipulation for his own gain. He sounds amazing despicable right? You'd think so. If it were not for the fact that asshole heroes were one of my favourite tropes I'd agree with you. So instead I revel in puddle of lust he has reduced me to.

Holly Wix is a Country singing rising star. As the winner of make-me-a-star TV show, she hoped it would be the big break she dreamed of but instead she finds herself under the rule of PR spinning bigwigs. Her feelings of lack of control manifest themselves in her decision to take control and in doing so allow herself one reckless night.

Who would have thought the Billionaire and the Country singer would be a match made in smutty heaven? It's an explosive night that far exceeds any experiences they have had before and Creighton Kara has no intention of being a one hit wonder.

As utterly fantastic as the chemistry between them is, there is a story here also. Although Creighton's actions midway still leave me feeling rather nonplussed, Meghan March creates enough intrigue for me to consider the 29th December far too long of a wait to get my hands on the next instalment.

Being my own boss. I spent a lot of years answering to others, and I find that I’m much better suited to running my own little empire.

Interview with Elle Casey

1. Why did you decide to write a serial romance?

I'm always looking for ways to do something different, mix things up a bit. I was reading about the history of serial novels on Wikipedia one day, and I realized that it's really an old form of delivering novels to the public (not some newfangled thing like some people think), and I thought it would be kind of interesting to give it a shot. I write a lot and have a lot of books out, and to keep things interesting, I like to try new things -- new for me, anyway. The best part about writing that serial novel, though, was that I would write a Part and then wait for reader feedback before I started the next Part, so it was a very interactive way of writing a story. The readers definitely influenced the way the story was guided and how it ended.

2. What specifically inspired you to write Just One Night?

I was looking to write something a little steamier than I have in the past, and I liked the idea of a one night stand that turns into something more. I also have a real soft spot in my heart for Hugh Grant, so having a character who is a charming Englishman really appealed to me.

3. How would you describe the characters in Just One Night?

I would describe the two main characters, Jennifer and William, as business-minded people who are disillusioned with love or don't feel like they have time for love, but still have a yearning to be with someone. And they both have a pretty good sense of humor.

4. What has the reader response been to Just One Night since its first publication in 2014?

It's been really great! I'm so excited that the readers have enjoyed William and Jennifer's banter as much as I did when I was writing the book. I say this all the time, and I know it's hard to believe, but when I write, I just take dictation. The characters speak to me in my mind, and I write what they say. I giggled through the whole book.

5. Do you have plans to write other serials?

Actually, yes, I do. Edward is William’s younger brother in Just One Night, and he has earned his own serial romance that will come out in November and December. It will also feature Jennifer and William from the first serial novel, Edward’s new personal assistant, and Mia, Jennifer's best friend.

I've certainly been looking forward to the explosive finale to the brilliant build up these Hate F*@ks. However, after the cliffhanger we were left with in Part Two I must say I was a little disappointed at how quickly that part of the story was resolved in this edition.

My enjoyment came from the evolution of Cole and Hailey's relationship. Cole proved himself worthy of his boyfriend status and Hailey learns that she no longer has to shoulder her burdens alone. Also, as ever the physical connection between them is off the charts.

"A bad boy can be so very good. A good girl can get really dirty. And two lonely people who find each other can finally be happy."

There is more to come from the Horus group which I am looking forward to it. I only hope that there is a shorter time period between each edition.
