Title: Dominic
Series: Slater Brothers #1

Rating: 0 stars; Note: DNFed.
Cliffhanger:. No

DNF 65%

I’m so in hate with this novel, there won’t be any pretty graphics to make my review sweeter.

I just couldn’t do it anymore. It was horrible brainwashing disaster that left me feeling confused and very angry. The characters were dumb, childish and very unlikeable, the plot was boring and not original at all and I simply couldn’t find Dominic and his actions amusing. Were they idiotic? Yes. Were they childish? Yep. Were they fuckin’ unaceptable? YEAH.

So, Dominic go to hell and never come back. Don’t even try to crawl out of the rock you hide yourself. I HATED HIM (if you haven’t noticed already). Cause telling someone she has a Fat Ass, in my book, is not a compliment and bullying/calling names/forcing someone to do something is not a foreplay. He didn’t even consider it a BAD THING. DOMINIC WAS HORRIBLE human being! Period.

And Bronagh? Who the fuck could like this stupid heroine? She was so dumb and naïve and out of her goddammed mind I wanted to struggle her. YGH! Even thinking about her makes me want to hurl. She wanted to be all tough and badass she looked like an idiot most of the time.

And what’s more, the entire plot was not only idiotic but utterly unbelievable. There were so many scenes that made what to throw my ereader across the room, I was stunned when I realized that my baby won’t survive me finishing this novel. So for sake of my sanity and my beloved ereader, I’m singing off this shit. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TOUCH THIS SERIES.

Review: Six Months by Dannika Dark

Title: Six Months
Series: Seven #2
Author: Dannika Dark
Release Date: March 25, 2014
Rating: 4 stars
Cliffhanger:. No.

Paranormal Romance Series by USA Today Bestselling Author, Dannika Dark

Book 2
April Frost is a compassionate young woman with a steady job and ambitious goals. But the harder she runs away from her past, the more it threatens to destroy her. When three strangers enter her life, April is forced to face her demons and it's a battle she may not win.

Private investigators in the Breed world are men who take risks, and Reno Cole is no exception. As a Shifter, he's expected to control his inner animal. But lately his wolf has been venturing dangerously close to the city, and he's about to discover why. When Reno is reintroduced to a family friend, the attraction is immediate. April captivates him with her secretive eyes and resilient spirit. She's also in trouble, and despite the fact she's a human, Reno can't turn his back on her.

April is caught between two worlds: One that threatens to bury her dreams and another that could fulfill them. Can she trust the wolf at her door and find the courage to overcome her demons?

Six Months, just like the previous book in the Dannika Dark’s Seven series is a great, steamy paranormal romance, I devoured in matter of hours. It was all kind of sexy, a little bit kinky and fast paced, heartwarming story, from which I got my very needed paranormal fix.

You can say I’m addicted to strong alpha wolves, as they always make me all mushy and crazy for them. Reno definitely was in this category too. Personally, I felt a little bit more connected to Austin and Lexi, yet I was enjoying myself immensely while reading Six Months . It’s a great story for those who crave some alpha lovin’ and don’t mind mysterious, broody wolves or a little bit naïve heroines.

And the few sex scenes where over the moon and back hot. The steam level was so perfect, I’m still tingling and trying to calm down my internal inferno. Reno was one sexy beast!

Review: Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins

16007855

Title: Sweet Reckoning
Series: Sweet Trilogy #3
Author: Wendy Higgins
Release Date: April 29th, 2014
Rating: 5 stars
Cliffhanger:. No
It’s time.

Evil is running rampant and sweet Anna Whitt is its target. Nobody knows when or how the Dukes will strike, but Anna and her Nephilim allies will do anything necessary to rid the earth of the demons and their oppressive ways.

The stakes are higher than ever, and Anna is determined that the love she feels will be her strength, not a liability. But trying to protect the ones she loves while running for her life and battling demonic forces proves to be perilous—especially as faces are changing and trust is fleeting. When the Duke of Lust sends Anna’s great love, Kaidan Rowe, to work against her, Anna must decide how much she’s prepared to risk.

In the most sensual and fast-paced installment yet, Sweet Reckoning brings all the beloved Neph together one last time to fight for their freedom.

Wendy Higgins completely astounded me. In this incredible end of Sweet Trilogy she’s used every trick I could only imagine to make it perfect. From the first chapter that slowly drew me into the world of angels and demons, I had fallen in love with earlier, to the fascinating, heartbreaking romance and strong friendships, Sweet Reckoning was the bomb!

Kai and Anna, both matured and changed for the better. It was amazing to see them grow up so much. My heart broke repeatedly for Kaiden who’s suffered through all of the three books.

This time though, he was not only demonically sexy but angelically good and strong person as well. That made me love him even more. The romance was that good that I can’t remember how many times I swooned during reading Sweet Reckoning.

I don’t want to spoil you anything, so I won’t be giving away much about the plot is. The best is to read it without any additional knowledge – the only thing you should know is that the whole book is very intense and unpredictable. I enjoyed every second of it, and I am proud to write that the whole series was brilliant and that I am very sad to see it has ended.

Overall, this was a stellar conclusion to the series that captivated me few years ago. From the start to finish, Anna and Kai's story didn't let go even for a single second. This is one of those books that every paranormal YA junkie should read.

It’s action packed, full of good and bad and so sexy at times without being explicit novel ,that literally had the strength to swept me of my feet. Sweet Reckoning is exactly what every hopeless romantic needs and I can recommend it to all of you, knowing you will end up loving this story and characters just as much as me.
