Review: Only Between Us by Mila Ferrera

About The Book:

18216464
Title: Only Between Us
Author: Mila Ferrera
Release Date: 3rd September

Last semester, Romy escaped from an abusive relationship with the guy she’d thought was the man of her dreams. This semester she’s putting herself back together, determined to reclaim her passion for art and for life. When she signs up for a painting class at the local art co-op, the possibility of passion becomes very real -- in the form of her teacher, Caleb. Both mysterious and seriously hot, Caleb bares his soul on his canvases, and Romy’s fascinated by what she sees.

Caleb is just trying to keep his head above water. Caring for his traumatized, unstable sister is getting harder every day, and his paintings are so dark and bleak that no one is buying. Teaching classes at the co-op is no longer enough, and now he’s going to have to sell more than just his art to the wealthy, sex-starved women in his classes. But when Romy comes along, she makes everything more complicated. She sees the truth in his paintings -- a truth no one else has realized, until now.

Romy and Caleb might have a real shot together -- one that could heal them both. But when ghosts from their pasts re-emerge, determined to keep them apart, will they be strong enough to hold on to each other?

My Thoughts:

Rating 5 stars

Only between us is about Romy who escaped from terrible, toxic relationship, that changed her life and destroyed vital parts of it. Now, she has to pick up the pieces of life that Alex had stolen her. Little by little and step by step Romy comes back to the things that were a part of her, before Alex. With help of her friends, Romy finishes her degree and for the first time in very long time starts to paint.

Romy is strong and kind character, there isn’t a whiney bone in her, which made me like her very much. She’s not typical New Adult heroine, because even with her past and fear she’s trying to rebuilt her life, without too much drama. Her great passion for painting, made her enroll in painting classes where she meets Caleb. Sexy and struggling artist who has many difficulties. Everything is on his shoulders and every day is a fight to survive and protect his damaged sister. Still he manages to take care of his mentally disturbed sister the best he can, which was admirable. He never complained, never told a bad word about her. It was heartbreaking to see how much he could sacriface for her.

One Between Us is one of those books that are nice and pleasureable read, yet still heartbreaking. It’s a great story about dealing with problems without causing too unrealistic drama or lack of commnication between main characters. I’ve enough of dishonesty in book relationships, so it was really nice to see a couple who were honest and believed in others words. That made Romy and Caleb’s relationship realistic, beautiful and good.

I also loved how wonderfully author showed Caleb and Romy’s love for art. It was incredibly passionate, sweet and tasteful. It was nice to see how much art means to Caleb, and the way Romy can see into his soul by looking at his work made me swoon.

The only issue I had is predictability. As much as I enjoyed it, Only Between Us is very similar to other contemporary romances. I suppose this book should be hotter and more twisted.

Everything in Only Between Us is real and sincere. Every page is filled with enaging story about facing obstacles and never letting go of things that are important. Extremely likeable characters and the fact this book has alternating point of views, made it more complex and heart shattering.

Review: The Other C-word by M. K Schiller

About The Book:

18335969
Title: The Other C word
Author: M. K Schiller
Release Date: 22nd August

Can she overcome her consuming desire for him? Can he make her comfortable with the other C-word…commitment?

Marley Mason is dreading the arrival of the new business consultant. After all, this man will most likely outsource her job to China. The last thing she would expect is a case of mistaken identity, leading to false accusations of kidnapping when she attempts to pick up the wrong man at the airport, or worse…that she would have such a visceral reaction to the right man.

Rick Randy is super sexy, scandalously flirty and perfect masturbation material, but a relationship is out of the question. Rick is contracted on a temporary basis to fix Marley’s ailing company, then pull out, although as he expresses to Marley, pulling out is difficult for him, in more ways than one! Marley’s feelings range from utter confusion to intense contemplation as Rick charms his way into her life. All of those C-words Marley can control, but it’s the other C-word she fears—commitment.

My Thoughts:

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Let’s start with one little question, was I the only perv that thought the C word meant c*nt not commitment? I mean, look at the cover! It’s almost mocking me, before I read the blurb I was 100% sure it’s about that word!

Anyway, The Other C-word is fantastic read! Sexy, amusing, quirky and with one fine piece of hot man in suit and feisty heroine. Everything I love in my book packed in great romance novel that made me have a blast! I laughed pretty hard, almost crying few times. I was hot and bothered more than few times and my heart ached with pain once or twice for Marley. There were more times I could count when I swooned and melted.

Marley is working in a small, family firm that have finance problems. Biggest corporations are destroying them. So she and her coworkers are afraid of being fired, especially because they know that boos hired a consultat that’s task is giving the firm better feedback and solid ground.
Rick Randy is the man who has been haired to fix their company’s problems. But he’s nothing like Marley thought he would be. He’s an epithome of sex appeal and more. In his designer’s suits with cocky smirk and flirty attitude he crashed Marley.

They have scorching hot sexual chemistry that is out of this word. Explosive passion and lust is always between them. And there is not a moment when Marley isn’t thinking about Rick’s ass in designer pants.

The thing is Marley doesn’t do relationship. Occasional fuck with a hot guy? Hell yeah. Romantic dinners, sleepovers, commitment and love? Not an option. And Rick definitely wants more than a quickie in elevator or backseat.

The plot seems really simple, but what author did with it, crushed my expectations. It was so good, I am ashmed to confess that I thought it would be meh kind of erotica, and this is not a book like this. At all!

The other C-word is so sexy, so funny and wonderful story I’m high on it. I loved how easily author created this hilarious scenes, I laughed so hard my family thought I’d gone crazy. The more I read the more I coudn’t stop myself.

And the sexual tension? Yummy! Fuck, I think I loved it more when both of them suffered from nasty case of blue balls that when they had actual sex, which was pretty hot too, of course.

Overall, this book is PHENOMENAL READ. Pure sexiness, great humor and touching story with unique characters, family to die for and some really hilarious scenes that The Other C Word in nutshell. It’s a must read for every romance junkie.

Review: The Thief Redeemer by Leigh Clary Abdou

About The Book:

18346552Title: The Thief Redeemer
Author: Leigh Clary Abdou
Release Date: September

Brandon Wilson is trouble.

As leader of the largest car theft ring in Atlanta, GA, life is coming at him faster than he can handle. While the criminal world views him at the top of his game, the truth is, he’s breaking apart, piece by piece. He’s not sure how much more he can take before he completely shatters.

He’s able to manage this facade until he meets Claire Peters. As a part of a kidnapping scheme gone bad, she’s literally delivered right to his warehouse door. As his love for her grows, Brandon finds himself caught in an impossible dilemma. With his lifestyle, he knows he can’t keep Claire, and yet, he can’t risk letting her go, either. His men think he should make her disappear forever, but she’s his angel who still believes in second chances.

Can someone be so lost they’re beyond saving? And if salvation is possible, how does Claire show him the way?

Can a thief be redeemed?

My Thoughts:

Brandon Wilson is trouble

Brandon Wilson is a leader of the biggest car theft in Atlanta. At only 28 he’s the criminal, everyone fears of. Ruthless, dangerous and fierce, he’s the man that won’t be giving second chances. If you give him even slight sign of being disloyal, you’ll be dead quickier than you’ll be able to say ‘I’m sorry’.

When really sneaky lawyer and police detective finally has something on him, Brandon decides to give both of the other thing to worry about. Like kidnapped daugthers. How bad he didn’t expect that Birch’s daugther is the woman he has hots for.
Claire is sweet and innocent. She’s never done anything bad in her life. And she would laugh if someone told her she would be kidnapped by the sexiest crimanl in the world, who isn’t as bad as she thought.

Fantastic premise caught my eye instantly. I thought it would be phenomenal, refreshing read, that will leave me panting, breathless for more. What I did get is a complicated story that didn’t exactly feel well with me. Lots of times, I caught myslef at not believing in what was happening, because situations were very unrealistic, and lacked in depth or emotions department.

Everything felt rushed, which made it hard for me to connect with characters and the fact that I couldn’t understand instant ‘connection’ Brandon felt toward Claire, really blew it for me. Add to this the complete lack of sexy times, and I really mean complete, because not counting one scene between Brandon and some slut, Claire and he didn’t share anything sensual. In my opinion, the all relationship between them is forced and totally without chemistry.

Brandon is a tough cookie. He’s supposed to be ‘big, bad wolf’, but unfortunately, he’s only acting this way. I couldn’t connect with him. While reading The Thief Redeemed I had this nagging feeling that author couldn’t really decide, if she wanted to make Brandon good guy with golden heart, or ruthless criminal. I suppose, this book could be lot of darker and grittier if Brandon was more dominant and forceful, which would make it more realistic and enjoyable.

Claire was plain Jane for me. I don’t understand how Brandon could instantly fell in love with her. It wasn’t even lust that caused this, cause there was zero in steam level. For a man whore, Brandon is confessed to be, he didn’t act this way at all.

Overall, a reader who loves sexy times and dark reads will be disappointed. A person who wants to read something other than usual will be enjoying it. I wished I could connect more to the story, but for some reason I just couldn’t do so. Maybe my false expectations made it appear so.

Rating: 2.5 stars.

Early Review: Red Hill by Jamie McGuire

About The Book:

17457124

Title: Red Hill
Author: Jamie McGuire
Release Date: 1st October

When the world ends, can love survive?

For Scarlet, raising her two daughters alone makes fighting for tomorrow an everyday battle. Nathan has a wife, but can’t remember what it’s like to be in love; only his young daughter Zoe makes coming home worthwhile. Miranda’s biggest concern is whether her new VW Bug is big enough to carry her sister and their boyfriends on a weekend escape from college finals.

When reports of a widespread, deadly “outbreak” begin to surface, these ordinary people face extraordinary circumstances and suddenly their fates are intertwined. Recognizing they can’t outrun the danger, Scarlet, Nathan, and Miranda desperately seek shelter at the same secluded ranch, Red Hill. Emotions run high while old and new relationships are tested in the face of a terrifying enemy—an enemy who no longer remembers what it’s like to be human.

Set against the backdrop of a brilliantly realized apocalyptic world, love somehow finds a way to survive. But what happens when the one you’d die for becomes the one who could destroy you?

My Thoughts:

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Red Hill was on my list of highly anticipated releases. I was looking forward to see how Jamie McGuire will handle writing in completely undiscovered by her genre and what fans of Beautiful Disaster, will say after reading such a different novel.

I was full of optimism, believing that McGuire wouldn’t have published something she knows won’t be in her readers’ taste. Writing post apocalyptic novel after focusing almost entirely on romance isn’t easy, especially when someone already has stable fan base, that clearly enjoys different literature category. On the contrary being an author who’s able to push readers out of their comfort zone and surprised them by being completely fixable is a risk that sometimes is worth the taking.

Unfortunately, for me McGuire totally flushed her chance down the toilet. I suppose she wanted the best, for herself – to push the limits as an author and try herself in something different, for publishers and media – to shock and gain new fans, and for her fans – to be finally able to do show them enjoyment in zombie novel.

Well, it didn’t work for me. As much as I liked her previous work, Red Hill, left me unsatisfied, bored and extremely tired.

Red Hill is like C class horror movie. Nothing unique or refreshing was thrown to the usual zombie sack, from one cliche to the other, from mutating virus, crazy scientists and biting to get infected, McGuire didn’t use any new twist to make her story more bearable. No, she just used every patent, I’ve already seen or read about. And as I completely understand that doing something new in this genre is really hard to achieve, I was clearly disappointed by her lack of creativity.

Also, there were this big plot holes, that didn’t make it any easier to understand why people acted the way they did. For example, story begins when Scarlet and her daughters start the next normal day in their lifes, when on the news, people talk about an epidemy in Europe, and complete chaos. The virus attacked Germany and the country changed into hell, people alternated into zombie like creatures, while USA citzens didn’t do anything at all. Scarlet confessed, she didn’t see any changes in US behavior. It was like nobody was paying attention to what was happening. The fact that airports were still working and people were still buying international flights really nailed it. I mean, who was so stupid to let people get infected in the Europe and then make it back to US to infect another country? Then in only a day all country is full of brainless zombies. People panic and kill each other and blah, blah (think of any zombie movie you’ve watched)

After being unsatisfied and bewildered by the apocalyptic part, I had my hopes in romance. But sadly, I was even more disappointed. Scarlet and Nathan met about 65-70% in, and almost immediately fell in love. I didn’t feel chemistry or anything. I didn’t even realized they already had feelings for each other when they had sex.

The novel ends in the stupidest way it could and epilogue made this story even more unrealistic. From ‘we are in hell’ things change to ‘lets start humanity from the beginning’ and ‘oh there will be few pink unicorns’.

Overall, Red Hill, killed a big part of me and my love for Jamie McGuire. I adore the decision to risking very much by publishing this novel, but I can’t comprehend why she chose this path. I fear, that most of McGuire fans will give this book four of five stars rating, not because it’s mind blowing book, that gave them everything they hoped for, but because of the author’s name. I observed this phenomenon with countless other writers and their fan base.

Review: Reflect Me by K. B. Webb

About The Book:

17860326Title: Reflect Me
Author: K. B Webb
Release Date: 23rd September
Rating: 3 stars

If you're looking for a story about a sweet, innocent virgin who rides off into the sunset with a reformed bad boy, then you're looking in the wrong place.

Some people don’t get a happily ever after. Molly Scott is one of those people, and she knows it. With the kind of past that she has, and the secrets that she holds, she knows that even if she found Prince Charming, he wouldn’t want her. She refuses to dwell on her less than ideal situation though. This is her life, no point in complaining.

Logan Wade had his life planned out, until all his dreams came crashing down around him. Now, he’s come back to the town he swore he would never see again to start fresh. He has no plans to ever settle down again, that’s how he ended up back here in the first place.

When Molly and Logan meet, they are forced to rethink the lives they thought they knew and the futures they were so sure they wanted. Suddenly, Molly wonders if there is a better life outside of the hell she has built for herself, and Logan begins to rethink his resistance towards settling down again.

They say love conquers all, but Molly and Logan are about to find out that sometimes love just isn’t enough.

My Thoughts:

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Molly’s life isn’t full of rainbows or unicorns. She’s trapped with a boyfriend, she doesn’t love but loathe. A man that’s more interested in drinking, smoking weed and ‘meeting’ with different women, than taking care of Molly and their newborn daughter.

Every day with Brian is a day filled with humillation, abuse and fear. I couldn’t understand why Molly was living with him and putting up with Brian’s shit. I would kick his ass, without a second thought. But yet Molly is hiding her bruises, covering them and pretending everything is okay, while Brian fucked girl after girl.

Logan is Brian’s friend from childhood. They didn’t see each other in years, but when Logan came back to his hometown, there is no way of avoiding their meeting. But Logan didn’t expect, that he will fall in love with his friend girlfriend and that Brian is a abusive.

While, Molly is taking care of her baby and avoiding Brian’s wrath, she and Logan start to develop feelings that go beyond frienship.

Can Molly finally say no to Brian? Can she let go of the abuse and find her real Prince Charming?

Reflect Me is a debut novel by K. B Webb that caught my attention, because of the first sentence in the blurb „If you're looking for a story about a sweet, innocent virgin who rides off into the sunset with a reformed bad boy, then you're looking in the wrong place”, after that I needed to read it. As true as this sentence is, Reflect Me was nothing I expected it to be. After I finished reading, my head was spinning with the question: „Did I read the right book?” Cause it definitely didn’t match my expectations.

Overall, Reflect me was not bad, I can’t say that, but it was not knock-your-socks-off-sweep-me-off-my-feet kind off deal. Still, it had great parts, that made me ejnoy it and crossing my fingers for Molly, the main character, that totally should find her happily ever after. Logan was sweet and caring, which was everything Molly and her daughter needed. I really liked his protective side.

Sometimes, being in the wrong place at the wrong time is where you need to be for the good things in life to fall into place.

As they spend more time together, Catch’s motivation for saving her life changes with his realization that if anything happens to Max he may be unable to live without her.

This book is HEA.

***Due to sexual content and language it's not suitable for young readers.***

My Thoughts:

4.5 stars

This is hot, temperametal read, with yummy alpha male and badass girl on the run.

Catch is fantastic read that reminded me of watching action movie with great, strong romance. Full of sexual chemistry, amazing humor, bad guys and guns, Catch got me hooked! There wasn’t a minute, when I was bored or wanted to skip pages. I was glued to the story and nothing could make me stop reading. This book is the exact reason, why I love reading so much. I just love the feeling of escape from the real world, into one full of possibilties, and Catch transported me there.

Max is fierce woman, that can kick some asses. Her temper and sharp tongue will be the death of her… Literally.

This woman can’t stop sticking her nose into someone else’s buisness, which after a night spent with her boss, was a catastrophe. Afraid of being fired, after she finally gave up what’s between her legs to James Kelly, CEO of Fiddle, Max thought it was a great idea to break into his office and find something to blackmail him with, but when she was copying files from his computer onto her memory stick, she didn’t think there would be information worth her life. Now, James Kelly wants her death and the best way to do so is to hire professional assassin.

Ruthless, dominant and recluse Catch finally decides to retire. Max will be his last hit, and then he’s outta here. When he gets the job, he thinks that kidnapping his victim is a little bit weird, but when he learns why Kelly wants her death he can’t do it, This beautiful red head with temper is Innocent and there is no way he will kill someone who doesn’t deserve it. Even assassins have morales, right?

Deciding to help this annoying, frustrating woman, Catch causes some big trouble. Now, Max and Catch not only have to run away from Kelly, but from group of furious assassins and from the feelings they share toward each other.

Sexual tension and explosive chemistry is everywhere. Sparks are flying, breathing’s rapid… And Catch and Max are fighting. Every time of a day and night. The more possesive Catch got, the more provocative Max started to act.

He and his alpha male ways with red headed temper of Max make dangerous mix, that can burn them. But is there a way to stop the want of their bodies? Nope, there definitely isn’t *fist pump*.

Catch is phenomenal read, that will satisfy every lady in need for some kick ass action and action between the sheets. This is hot, temperametal book, with yummy alpha male and badass girl on the run, will blow your mind! This sensual story will hold you captive to the last page!

Release Blitz & Review: Through Glass by Rebecca Ethington

Don't Eat The Food
ThroughGlass-BN-Kobo
Title: Through Glass
Author: Rebecca Ethington
Genre: NA Dystopian
Release Date: 20th September

Everyone remembered the day the sky went black. The day the sun was wiped from the sky. They remember the wind as it brought in the darkness; the way the earth shook and everything changed.
Everyone remembered the screams as the darkness ate those who were out in the open, those who had surrounded themselves by light, and those who made noise.

Everyone remembered the voice from the sky and the way food disappeared.

At least, that’s what I hoped. I hoped that there was an ‘everyone’ that would remember because I am not sure how many are left, how many survived. Or if anyone did.
I hoped that I wasn’t alone.
I remembered that day. I remembered because it was the day I became alone.
It was the day that everything was perfect until the monsters took it away. Then the house went silent and the birds stopped singing. It was the day when everyone disappeared, everyone except the boy, the only person I have seen in two years.
The boy I talk to through the glass.

 Excerpt

I looked up as the screech of the Ulama ended, as the monster fell to the ground of my room, the dark blood of the two dead creatures spilling over my once white carpet.

I stared at the monsters as I panted and my heart beat a frantic pulse against my skin. I stared as my pulse slowed until I could pull my eyes away from the thing that tainted my room to look into the eyes I had dreamed about every night for as long as I could remember.

I couldn’t move, I couldn’t make my tongue work. I just looked at him, knowing that tears were sliding down my cheeks; knowing and not caring.

I wasn’t sure why I was crying, I wasn’t sure if it was because of the panic that still surged through my body or the joy that I felt at seeing him there.

“Alexis,” he said, his voice as deep and rumbling as I remembered it. It shot through me and for the first time in years I felt alive.

It was him.

I didn’t say anything. I didn’t trust my mouth enough to form coherent words. I just moved. I moved as he moved, our hands meeting for the first time in two years as we hovered over the body of the monsters that had attempted to kill me.

I grasped his skin, my heart beating so fast I was sure I couldn’t take it. A shaking breath moved out of me, his own breath moving across my skin. He moved closer as his frantic breaths rolled over me—the heat of his breath, of his touch—igniting a fire across the surface of my skin. His fingers trailed their way up my arms, over my face, across my neck…

I had forgotten how good this felt. I had forgotten what touch was like; what it did to my body.

Everything felt like it was on fire. I smiled through the tears as he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me toward him. I let him, letting my own arms wrap around him in my desperate attempt to get closer to him, to feel more of him.

I felt his lips graze against my skin, the touch dry and foreign, but incredibly welcomed. I turned into it, my fingers digging into his tattered shirt and into his shaggy unkempt hair as the scruff on his chin moved against my face.

I gasped at the prickly sensation that cut into me, the gasp deepening into a groan as his lips made contact with mine. The feeling of ecstasy I was now feeling grew into something I couldn’t ignore.

I clung to him, I pressed into him. I felt every part of him as he did the same to me. No words had passed between us since he had said my name, but we didn’t need them. I could feel his happiness in the way he clung to me, sensed his relief in the way he breathed and his joy in the taste of his lips.

I felt it all and I knew he felt it all from me. He pulled away from me slowly; his hands unwilling to leave my body as he moved back to look at me. His cheeks were stained with tears as he moved my hair out of my face and stared into my eyes.

“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he said again, the same words from all those years ago sounding even more beautiful.

“Two years, one month, thirteen days and a few hours?” He smiled as I spoke, his fingers running over the skin of my face like he would never let me go.

“And a few minutes,” he gasped, the sounds of ecstasy heavy in his deep voice. He smiled and I couldn’t help it, I laughed. I laughed loud and deep and let the sound carry around us.

Cohen smiled as his laugh filtered through mine like a silver ribbon. The happy sounds surrounded us and, for that moment, I was happy. I was free.

I couldn’t feel the pulse of fear that still beat through me. I didn’t see the monsters that lay lifeless in my room. It was Cohen and me, and everything was perfect.

Until the sound that would ring in our death rent through the air.

The screech of the Ulama broke through the sound of our laughter and destroyed the perfect peace we had created. The sound left as quickly as it had come, the warning received. We didn’t have much time.

They were coming.

My Thoughts:

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is something incredible in a book that can mesmerize, enchant and captivate reader so much it’s hard to think logically or even breath. When you are so connected to the characters, plot and things that are happening there, that fictional world start to overpower the real one, you know this is a book you’ll remember forever. That this is a book that marked you and changed something inside you. The more books I read, the less of them can give me this feeling, but Through Glass gave me so much more. My heart broke so many times, while reading it, I lost count. From one heartache to other, from love and happiness to fear and complete darkness, Through Glass gave me the most incredible ride of my life.

This story starts as the sweetest book ever and centers on Alexis and Cohen. They knew each other for years, while living next to door. The only thing they have to do to talk and laugh together is open their bedroom’s windows. When the book starts Cohen cames back from his first year in college and Alexis is finishing her senior year. Alexis is ready to do something about her feelings toward her best friend. When they finally open up to each other and share the sweetest, most incredible moment of their lifes the sky went black.

„Night had come and eaten everything”

Few minutes after Cohen goes back his bedroom, leaving Alexis in her house, the endless night casts the world. It’s happening quickly: sky starts to bleed, everything is overpowered by screams of people that die from the hand of beasts….

„I had heard the screams of death in the air, I had felt them rock through me. I had heard the ones yell as they fought back, only to die anyway. The black monsters had killed the people those pleas belonged to.”

Now Cohen and Alexis are trapped in their bedroom, only being able to look through the glass at the other one, and the blackness, fighting to survive.

The unique blend of romance with dystophia, only made the experience of reading Through Glass more heartbreaking, there were things that not only broke my heart, but shattered it into tiny little pieces. From one unexpected event to the next one, I was constatly kept on my toes. There wasn’t a second when I didn’t feel something. Like in kaleidoscope, my feelings changed from fear to sorrow, to love and pure shock.

Not only the plot is shocking and surprising, but the world Rebecca Ethington created is very well thought and focused. The characters are admireable. Alexis is fierce, smart and extremely brave, while Cohen is the boy you can’t help but fall in love with. He’s the man you can lean on and trust with your life.

Equally beautiful and sensitive as dark and scary Through Glass, is mind blowing tale of fear and loneliness. It’s shocking, it’s painful, it’s sick and twisted in the very best way. This story is like chamelon, that changes quickly from phenomenal contemporary romance into dark horror story, that would make Stephan King and Graham Masterton blush.

Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself.

It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey's loneliness, but maybe Jackson Hunt can. After a few chance meetings, he convinces her to take a journey of adventure instead of alcohol. With each new city and experience, Kelsey's mind becomes a little clearer and her heart a little less hers. Jackson helps her unravel her own dreams and desires. But the more she learns about herself, the more Kelsey realizes how little she knows about Jackson.

My Thoughts:

Cora Cormack is back with her new breathaking novel filled with witty sense of humour, sexy romance and wonderful heart- stopping adventure in Europe. I can honestly say that Finding It is the best book in Carmack’s series. She out done herself with this phenomenal novel. Step by step, page by page I slowly fell in love with this complex bittersweet story about finding yourself, finding adventure, love, and last but not least finding where your home truly is.

Now, it’s time for bitchy Kelsey to get her own story. This spoiled rotten girl is looking for adventure in Europe. From one country to the other, Kelsey’s spending her father’s money to party. Club after club, new sexy European for hook up every night and lots of tequila is her idea of living and not thinking about her future.

Meet Jackson Hunt. Sexy and extremely mysterious guy, that Kelsey can’t resist. She meets him while partying in Budapest and wants him to be her new flavour of the night. But Hunt won’t touch her, like she wants him to, especially when she’s wasted. Few weird and extremely funny encounters later, Kelsey agrees to travel with Hunt in hope for finding adventure of a lifetime. But what can happen when they travel to the most beautiful places in Europe and sparks starts flying in every direction?

My first thought while reading Finding It was that Hunt and Kelsey make adorable couple. Together they’re hilarious, a little bit crazy and definitely hot. I couldn’t help but laugh at theirs witty comebacks and ideas of fun. They are like dangerous, explosive mix or catastrophe that soon will happen. But what else should I expect when Cora Carmack mix rich bratty princess and a fine specimen of a man, that also happens to be ex marine?

Hunt is a guy that made me melt and fell head over heels in ten second flat. One cocky smirk and flash of muscules and I was drooling. Add to this fact that he didn’t put up with Kelsey’s bitchy attidute and her slutty ways and I was deep in love.

Sexual tension between the two of them was incredible. Some scenes that didn’t even involve kissing were hotter than numerous sex scenes written by other new adult authors. Even thinking about some parts of it still make me tingle.

I adored how amazingly Carmack’s captured beauty of Europe. From Prague to Rome, she pictured spectacular places and their unique vibe. I literally couldn’t wait to read what place would be next on Kelsey’s list. Some things like German food sterotype made me laugh out laud, but some parts like Italy description made me green with jealousy.

Overall, Finding It is a wonderful story, that can melt hearts. It’s great sweet romance story created by someone who really know how to do her job. Amusing, explosive and unpredictable, Kelsey’s story is a must read!

When she meets smoking hot tattoo artist Bennett, she wants him—for just one night. But he won’t accept a no-strings-attached arrangement. He lives by a straight-laced code of values based on his own troubled upbringing.

Bennett sees something special in Avery and he wants more from her. Way more. As Avery wrestles with her emotions for Bennett, danger and tragedy force them to open up to each other. And Avery must face the terrifying realization that she wants more from him, too.

Excerpt:

But I chose to disappear behind the trunk of the tree instead. I caught my breath and had a good talk with myself about burying my feelings for Bennett once and for all. Focusing on school, and Adam, and my career. It was quiet and dark, like I was in my own little secluded world. Until the rain came down in hard sheets and drenched me. I pushed away from the tree to make a run for the tent.

All at once I saw a blur of red as I was forced against the tree trunk, the bark digging into my sweater. Bennett’s soaked hair swung against my forehead, his hands gripped my face, and his mouth sealed over mine, fusing our wet lips and tongues together.

I scraped my fingertips up his chest to his hairline and felt him tremble against me. My heart thudded against my rib cage as Bennett’s mouth devoured me—like he was pouring all of his frustration into me.

We were sopping wet, our clothes clinging to us, and the rain wasn’t letting up anytime soon.

I swept my tongue across his lips and the hottest fucking growl erupted from his mouth. He flattened his body against mine, crushing me with the weight of his passion.

“Is this how you like it?” he mumbled, but my mind couldn’t register what he was asking. It had turned into a foggy haze and I couldn’t even remember the letters of the alphabet at that point.

Bennett was entirely lips and fingers and raw passion and I felt his arousal pulsing against my stomach. His hands were rough and they rushed down my body to palm my ass. He lifted me off the ground, and my legs gripped his waist.

“Tell me you want this. He slid down to the grass with me straddling him, and all I could do was moan into his lips. It was as if all the pleasure receptors in my brain had expanded and then shot rapidly into my core, setting me on fire.

My Thougths:

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

All of You is sweet and sexy story that totally caught my attention and kept it to the last page. It’s one of this novels that warm you heart and make you grin like an idiot long after you finished. It’s powerful and emotional and full of explosive chemistry! It’s book that you read for pure fan and just to close your eyes for a minute and daydream.

Avery is not interested in dating or falling in love. Her issues from childhood are still present, so she shields herself from men that can break her heart or body. That’s why she looks only for casual sex, that will never lead to something more. One night she calls the dibs on Bennett, extremely sexy and mysterious guy. Unfortunately he seems not interested, with stinging rejection Avery comes back to home, only to realize Bennett is her neighbor.

Bennett is tattoo artist. His childhood wasn’t the best one, so he made a rule, to sleep only with the one he loves. But kisment made him feel this explosive chemistry with woman that is not interested in commitment.

'I'm sorry you have to be attracted to someone like me. I can't be that girl for you, Bennett.'

'You can't, or you won't?'

'Both.'

Do they have a chance in happily ever after? Can Avery sacriface her independance and have normal relationship? Or will Bennett forget about his rule and become fuck buddy?

"What made you want to kiss me?” I whispered. I wasn’t even sure he heard me, until he finally spoke.
"Explosive chemistry… powerful conversations… beautiful”

All of You is refreshing read. Finally we have roles that are reversed. Instead of getting normal inexperienced girl and man whore we have a girl with commitment issues, who enjoyes to sleep around and boy who’s a virgin with strong beliefs. I don’t know if it’s only me who thinks that tattooed men virgin are sexy as hell, but Bennett is one of the sexiest book boyfriends I’ve read about in ages. Of course rock stars or dirty talkers who know what they are doing are hot, but the orginality and innocence that oozes from Bennet made him the hottest man on the planet for me. He’s the boy I would fall in love with in reality. As much as I like bad boys, they are only good to read about and fantasize, but Bennett is definitely a man who could steal my heart, mind and soul within minutes. I wouldn’t think twice about marring a man like him. Good, caring and gentelman, with artistic spark and this sexual vibe which changes girls into pile of mush. He’s realistic character and for the first time I saw young man who knows he needs love. True love.

All of You is phenomenal way to spend evening with butterflies in stomach. It’s great story that will make you smile and wish for that kind of romance for yourself. It’ll make you swoon and tingle. It’s truly romantic story about first love and fighting for it.
