Summary:

He’s arrogant, domineering, and... To. Die. For.

Hunter is a ruthless killer. And the Department of Defense has him firmly in their grasp, which usually doesn’t chafe too badly because he gets to kill bad guys. Most of the time he enjoys his job. That is, until he’s saddled with something he’s never had to do before: protect a human from his mortal enemy.

Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something... unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.

Hunter stirs Serena’s temper and her lust despite their differences. Soon he’s doing the unthinkable—breaking the rules he’s lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena’s life… or is it Hunter?

Review:

Holly sh... Arum!!!!!

I feel my review will quickly become an epos about how I loved Hunter. Let's start it, shall we?

JLA has done it again! She's like mythical Midas, who can change everything she's touched in gold!
She's like a mine of great ideas, and her writing skills make every book of hers bestseller. I had high expectations but they weren't as high as that!!

Obsession is quite a roller coaster ride, that take us deeper into the mysterious world of Aliens. This companion novel to Lux Series is  fantastic, adventurous complement that will blow your mind and melt your panties.

I have to confess I'm in love with An Arum! Arum! ARUM!!

I'm sorry Daemon, I really am, but c'mon how could I not fall into arms of this sexy alien? Those blue eyes, broad shoulders and hot ass is like a wet dream come true. Even you, Black hadn't made me lose my mind and pants so quickly.  Hunter, an Arum ( I know I know I'm saying it a lot but I can't wrap my mind about the fact that now I prefer Arum than Luxen)  arogant, sassy jerk made me melt onto the floor, burn into ashes and rise above the ground. Repeatedly.

I feel like Obsession is important read that'll make you uderstand Lux series lots of better. I saw the other side of the coin and now I can honestly say I know what's going on there. At the beginning I thought that every Arum is bad and Luxens are the good guys, now I'm not so sure about that.   So it's MUST READ for people who want to delve into Lux world.  Period.

Btw, Can I be obsessed about Obsession?
