They say men like a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom. I never knew the sentiment was reciprocal. Until I met Jax Knight. A gentleman in public, a commanding, dirty talking rogue in the bedroom. Daughter of legendary fighter “The Saint,” Lily St. Claire knows firsthand how fighters can be. As the owner of a chain of MMA gyms, she’s no stranger to aggressive, dominating, and possessive men. That’s why she’s always kept her distance. But the day Jax Knight walks through her door she’s captivated by his charm. Stunningly handsome, well mannered, Ivy League educated, and confident, he shatters all the preconceived notions she’d come to think were true about men who trained to fight. But falling for someone so soon after her breakup wasn’t something she’d planned on. And definitely not something her ex plans to allow.

Worth Forgiving is the third and final instalment of Vi Keeland's MMA Fighting Series. Let it be said she chose a mighty fine Male MC to go out with.

Jax Knight: Is, to the untrained eye; a suit. The professional, confident unassuming type. However, get him out of the suit and he's the all commanding, sexy alpha male type. Fresh from the devastation and consequences of his Fathers less than upstanding behaviour, Jax decides he has had enough of living in image that is expected of him and will start living for himself. This leads him to New York & Ralley's Gym. His plans for business are soon mixed with pleasure when he encounters co-owner of the gym, Lily.

Lily St. Claire: Like the previous Female MC's in the series, Lily has had to struggle through some tough times in her past, more recently the death of her beloved Father; but unlike the rest, I struggled with relating with her the most. In all fairness most of my frustration with her stemmed from her weakness and decisions making skills in regards to ex boyfriend and all around douche, Caden.

Caden is attitude is entitled, self righteous, intimidating borderline stalker-ish amongst other things; due to this I found it hard to understand Lily's misplaced guilt in ending their relationship.

To sum up my feelings for Caden:

The attraction between Jax and Lily is instant but due to her issues with Caden, Lily is overly cautious and reluctant to take things further. Jax meanwhile is patient, kind and supportive throughout. I found him different to the other men in the series and my favourite in all honesty. Whereas the others had the physical strength, Jax has more of a quiet strength; he's solid in character and integrity and downright sexy.

Thankfully, Lily soon sees sense and what ensues is a passionate relationship, leaving them both fulfilled in every way:

There is some drama for the couple and this is where the "Forgiveness" element in the story comes into play. I wasn't completely sold on who needed forgiving and why but there is a sweet conclusion to the story and series... Plus Vince, Nico and Jax in the same book does not suck, at all!

"Every time I see you smile, I smile. Your happiness has become my happiness. Either I'm in love with you, or you really are my very own Angel. Either way we were meant to be."
