Blog Tour & Giveaway: Lost and Found by Elle Casey

Title: Lost and Found

Series: (Love in New York #1)
Author: Elle Casey
Publication date: December 25th 2014
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Sometimes engagement rings can get lost and then found. Sometimes people can too. All it takes is a heavy-duty dose of karma and the magic of Manhattan to make it all come together.
Leah is a financially destitute new age hippy. James is a wealthy surgeon with a trust fund. She’s awkward, he’s poised. She’s completely crazy, he’s way too sane. People might say they have nothing in common, but they’d be wrong. They both live in Manhattan, they both have no idea how to change a baby diaper, and they’re both lost … until they find one another.

What's the best thing about being an Author?

Having readers tell me they love my work and it’s changed their lives in a good
way.

What's the best piece of advice you've been given?

Ignore the haters.

What's the worst piece of advice you've been given?

Accept defeat.

Who is your favorite character from all of your books?

Jayne Sparks Blackthorn (from my 10-book paranormal urban fantasy War of the Fae series). She is high school me.

Name a favourite book boyfriend (not one of your own).

I could never find a book boyfriend I really loved, which is why I wrote the ones I did in my books. They’re different than the average book boyfriend, I think. I guess the guy I’ve found sexiest in the last 15 years has been Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, but not because he was a very good boyfriend to Bella. I was also quite partial to Eric Northman, even though he was a murderous a-hole most of the time.  Handsome vampires are sexy, so I guess that’s as close as I get to a book boyfriend that’s not one I’ve written (because Mack of Shine Not Burn is the best book boyfriend ever! ha ha!)

What has been your favorite read so far this year?

Maybe Gone Girl. Not because I loved the characters (I hated them all), but because Gillian Flynn can write better than anyone I’ve ever seen. She’s scary smart. She makes me feel exceedingly stupid in comparison, and I know I’m not stupid. I’m so impressed by the fact that I kept reading that book just for the writing when I hated every single character and didn’t want any one of them to be happy in the end. Now that’s talent. I’m so jealous of her brain.

What can your readers expect next?

I have many, many future projects, but my ultimate goal would be to see one of my projects on a screen somewhere, film or television. Right now, I have no leads on that, but I’ll be working on it in 2016!
