Title: Catalyst (Tethered #1)

Author: Jennifer Snyder

Rating: 4 stars

ometimes who we really are lies buried just beneath the surface…

After learning she’s inherited a house in the beachside town of Soul Harbor, Georgia, Addison Harmon and her best friend decided to take a much needed vacation before the pressures of life after high school suffocate them too heavily.

But what Addison finds isn’t a chance to recoup from a bad break up and hang out with her best friend while she decides what she wants to do with her future. What she finds is Kace Sullivan—a sexy guy she can’t seem to get enough of—someone who with one touch reveals a seductive world full of magick and secrets Addison isn’t sure she’s ready to be a part of.

Mysterious. Enchanting. Unique.

Catalyst is definitely different and unique New Adult read. Interesting paranormal story with dose of romance was a nice breather for me. Captivating cover plus magical story made reading Catalyst sweet experience.

The story follows Addison Avery, nineteen year old girl who was adopted. She knows nothing about her biological mother so when she inherits her family house, she is astonished. Now, she’s going to spend vacation in this bizzare place.

Slowly Addison discovers who her family was and the person that knows things about Avery’s is Kace. Sexy stranger Addison meets on the beach. Stranger who tells her fascinating things about magick. She can’t deny their instant attraction.

Now Addison’s dealing with demon of her past, spectacular power and her heart which beats faster and faster for Kace. Can normal nineteen year old handle all of this?
Catalyst is another book by Jennifer Snyder worth checking out, it’s definitely something that can easily be entertaiment for the night.

Addison and Kace's relationship was everything I like.

I had few issues with the plot, some things were left unanswered, few I couldn’t quite grasp. I wished for a little bit more closure, but overall I had fun! The story is unique and enchanting and for those of you that like magical novels it’s a must read!
