Author:  Rachel Harris
Relase Date: 14th October
One bad boy. One good girl. One unforgettable week.

Angelle Prejean is in a pickle. Her family is expecting her to come home with a fiancé—a fiancé who doesn’t exist. Well, he exists, but he definitely has no idea Angelle told her mama they were engaged. Tattooed, muscled, and hotter than sin, Cane can reduce Angelle to a hot mess with one look—and leave her heart a mess if she falls for him. But when she ends up winning him at a charity bachelor auction, she knows just how to solve her fiancé problem.

Cane Robicheaux is no one’s prince. He doesn’t do relationships and he doesn’t fall in love. When sweet, sultry-voiced Angelle propositions him, he hopes their little fiancé game can finally get her out of his head. He doesn’t expect her to break through all his barriers. But even as Angelle burrows deeper into his heart, he knows once their seven days are up, so is their ruse.

My Thoughts:

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Seven Day Fiance is enjoyable read. It’s warm, sweet and cute romance story. From time to time, I adore reading heart melting novels, that make me swoon and grin all the time. Rachel Harris acomplished this, despite few minor issues I had with her novel.

This story is about Angelle a young woman that is supposed to have Fiance. Every family member thinks she’s already planning her wedding, while the truth is, she doesn’t even have a boyfriend. Her lies are slowly changing into catastrophe that is only waiting to happen.

Angelle’s problem is accidentally fixed, when she ends up winning, sexy, musculed bad boy on bachelor’s auction. Now, she only has to coax him into pretending to be her future husband for seven days.

Cane Robicheaux isn’t a good relationship material. He’s the love’em and leave’em kind of guy, but something in innocent Angelle, makes him agree into this little charade.
Poor Cane, didn’t realize that playing a fiance is like playing with fire, and seven days with a beautiful woman, can break his rules.

This story is really simple, nothing out of this world or explosive, yet I enjoyed it. Rachel Harris showed me well written story, that could easily be changed into Hollywood movie, that couples would watch on Valentine’s Day.

Well, the sweetest of it, somewhere along started to irritate me. I started to feel intoxicated by it, and quickly had enough of swooning. I was like five year old on Halloween, eating to much chocolate, having sugar high and then… everything went downhill. Low, low, low… because sometimes enough is enough.

Overall, Seven Day Fiance is lovely, sexy and charming read. I recommend it for fans of swooning romance stories, that can be read in one sitting. I missed angst and drama too much to fully enjoy it.
