Nox Taylor is far too high up in his field to be assigned a babysitting job. There’s nothing more he wants than to complete his mission so he can be rid of the smartass tomboy, Lily.

Day after day, Nox watches Lily and her strange ways. She’s unlike any woman he’s ever met. Getting close to the girl is purely for her own protection…right?

Lily never imagined she’d make her first real friends in captivity. What lengths would she go through to keep them?

 My Thoughts & Cast:

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Belle Aurora yet again striked with utterly witty and hilarious romance story that totally can make even the dead ones laugh. I found myself gigling through majority of the book and admiring interesting and slightly sarcastic storyline, that hooked me from the beginning and didn’t disappoint.

I can honestly say that I’m in love with how Belle Aurora’s mind works. Her great sense of humor is one of the best assests she could have had and she’s using it in 100%. Her books are like the rays of sun after days of rain - warm, nice and extremely satisfying.

Lily is twenty two year old woman, prisoned in her house, by overprotective father. She doesn’t go out alone and most of her days are spend on reading in her bedroom. Lily doesn’t know why she can’t leave the house without security or her parents.

She also didn’t have any idea what was going on, when one day, she and her sister were kidnapped straight from their bedrooms. They ware separated by four men in black masks, that packed them into black van and ran away. But these men weren’t usual kidnappers that wanted to hurt or scary Lily, they were there to protect her.

Nox is one of her kidnappers/guardians. He’s the moody, standoffish leader of operation, that rarely talks or makes exceptions. Hard as a rock and mysterious Nox is hot alpha male, that made me breath faster.

His broody character and high defenses made him look brutal in comparision to sweet, likeable and innocent Lily. But despite the differences and some great hating going on, Lily and Nox were perfect for each other.

In my eyes, Willing Captive is a parody of very popular these days ‘dark and disturbing’ romance novels, that ladies are eating up. Belle Aurora used it and made fantastic light, heart fluttering read out of it, that stole my heart!

I immensely enjoyed crazy antics and snarky comments that filled pages of Willing Captive. There is no moment to take a breath from Lily’s insane ideas and thoughts. This girl had some balls and paired with her exact opposite - tall, dark, broody and sexy Nox, Willing Captive was explosive mixture full of sexual chemistry, teasing and out of this world situations that cracked me up.

This extremely hilarious, funny and sexy read is a great way to spend evening and relax from seriousness of real, boring life. In Willing Captive, Aurora created fantastic illusion of world filled with rainbows and unicorns, while still being same old’ dangerous place, where nothing is set in stone. Lily and Nox story is a great example of it. My only issue, that doesn’t let me give this novel a five star rating is predictability.

About the Author:

Belle Aurora is twenty six years old and was born in the land down under. At an early age she fell in love with reading. Boredom one summer had her scouring the bookshelves at home. She stumbled across Sandra Brown's Breath of Scandal and fell  in love with romance. Having been brought up in loud and boisterous family of Croatian descent, she developed natural love for dramatics and humor. Only some years ago had she discovered a new love.
Humorous romance novels. Kristen Ashley and R. L Mathewson had opened a brand new world where she could lose herself yet feel safe abd at home in their stories. Belle had been known to become a screeching banshee while anxiously awaiting their newest titles. Belle never thought she could write. It had never interested her until recently. Friend- Zoned began to form and in february this year Belle typed the words Chapter One. And she fell in love. With words. With writing. With a creative imagination she never thought she harbored.
