Claire is a twenty-something, single mom that grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life.

When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim to none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Warning: contains explicit sex, profanity and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

Seduction and Snacks was very first book, I’ve read by Tara Sivec and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly she drew me into the story and made me forget all about the real world. I found myself laughing so hard my cheeks hurt and the stupid grin never fell of my face. It was very nice change after many emotional or dark reads.

The story was full of over the top humor, which I enjoyed. I think I’ve been laughing almost from the first page to the last, and some more, after closing the book and remembering some of the hilarious situations.

But the plot itself wasn’t the best. It was sweet and simple, but that’s it. I didn’t feel connected to characters much, though I‘ve found them entertaining. There were few sexy scenes that made me melt and nothing more.

Still, even though it was not writing masterpiece, I was entertained and had fun and that’s pretty much everything I expected.
