This was a nice easy read, low in drama but high in enjoyment. I haven't read any of the previous books in the Perfect Kisses series but it didn't detract from being able to follow the story although you got the sense that some characters were reoccurring.

Justine is a journalist in need of her next big story and a vacation. Visiting friends in Hawaii she catches a break that may fast track her career as she learns notorious reclusive Pro Surfer Chase Ryder is making his comeback.

Intent to cover the story, she gets more than her exclusive as she discovers Chase is none other than her Will. Will the one who got away, feeling betrayed and hurt she gives him an ultimate; give her, her exclusive of face having his cover blown.

Will Justine uncover more than she bargained for and reveal far more than she intends too?
Can Will trust Justine to keep his identity secret? Can Justine let go of the hurt and Will the fear the past will repeat itself?

You'll have to read it to find out!

It's sweet how the characters reconnect and learn to trust one another while helping each other with there fears and insecurities. Will was a genuinely nice character, past events have forced him to shun the limelight and he is fiercely protective over keeping his identity private. Some of the best scenes for me where when he was helping Justine overcome her fear.

In honesty this book is a departure for me, there is virtually no steam but I enjoyed it all the same.
